Information Summer:
Hallmarks are warm days (averaging 80 degrees) and cool nights, at an
elevation of about 4800 feet. Autumn:
Boasts magnificent fall colors, cool sunny days, and cooler nights,
often punctuated by elk bugling, ringing across the meadows and through
the clear mountain air. Fall big-game hunting here in the Bitterroots
is excellent and unsurpassed. Winter: Snowmobile riding, downhill and cross country skiing are all outstanding. Spring: Begins the yearly cycle of warmer sun-filled days, melting snow, green grass and wildflowers beginning to show as the winter snows recede.
Suggestions:
SHOP FOR YOUR FOOD, ETC. before you arrive at the cabin. Nearest town is a 30
minute drive. Bring appropriate seasonal clothing; if in doubt, call us. DON'T
